UC SANTA CRUZ NEWSCENTER -- The UC Santa Cruz Center for Emerging Worlds presents two nights of film and video on the theme of global Islam, Friday and Saturday, May 29, 30 at the Film and Digital Media Department on the UC Santa Cruz campus. Friday, May 29, 4 – 5:30pm — Videos by Mounir Fatmi: “Mixology” (2010), “Technologia” (2010) and “Rain Making” (2004). Discussion will follow with Tarek Elhaik, assistant professor of Cinema at San Francisco State University, and Peter Limbrick, associate professor, film and digital media, UC Santa Cruz.
