The Marcus Research Grant supports auxiliary research expenses for research travel, specialized research equipment, student research assistance, intersession child care, costs of publication, and other expenses inherent in a research or creative project. The grant cannot be used for conference travel or course time buyout and has a maximum award of $2,500. The College will distribute up to $20,000 in such funding to be used between August 2019-June 2020.
The purpose of this award is to support faculty excellence in research, scholarship and creative achievement. Awards are competitive and will be granted on the basis of proposals which demonstrate the ability of the faculty member to accomplish the project within the time-frame of the award, the significance of the activity, the clarity of the proposal, and the need for the award.

Eligibility: Full-time tenure-track and tenured faculty
